Beach Trip is the story of four college friends who are reunited twenty years later on a trip that will have unexpected consequences in the lives of each woman. It’s an exploration of the complicated relationship between four remarkable women – of their loves, friendships, and the moments that shaped them as wives, mothers, and women.
And speaking of remarkable women, I have so enjoyed getting to know all of my new book club friends! And I love hearing your stories – I collect stories the way some women collect spoons. (Don’t worry; I always change the names.) One group I met with around Valentine’s Day shared with me a list of the dud gifts given to them by their significant others over the years. Here are a few of my favorites:

Fishing tackle and pole;
Diamond ring that the dog ate and pooped out;
Archery set.
See what I mean? I can’t make this stuff up!
